Pumpkin is great for supporting your dog's gut motility and firming up stools. Rich in potassium, Vitamin E and Beta carotene.

Apple is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A and dietary fibre.

Pear is rich in dietary fibre, Vitamin A and potassium.

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Supports healthy digestion and cares for your dog's skin and coat.

And of course, a few scoops of Pure Pet Food which is vet approved and full of natural ingredients and healthy goodness, tailored to your dog.

Recipe

Here’s your step-by-step guide to making your Halloween treats – but be careful, your furry friends might want these every day!

  1. Remove the skin and slice a small amount of pumpkin. Make sure you remove the pumpkin seeds.

  2. Core and slice 1 apple & 1 pear (remember to remove all the seeds).

  3. Roast the pumpkin in the oven until soft and add the apple and pear when the pumpkin is half cooked.

  4. Once cooked mix the pumpkin, apple and pear together and mush into a pulp. Leave to cool.

  5. Put 4 scoops of Pure into a bowl and add 4 scoops of water. Add a little less or more water if necessary to create a dough like consistency.

  6. Add 2 tablespoons of the pumpkin and fruit mix to the rehydrated Pure, sprinkle a pinch of turmeric on top and mix.

  7. Mould the mix into balls of a size to suit and feed as a healthy treat for your dog. Keep the Halloween balls in the fridge and use within 24 hours.
